Mechanism of Action:
VEGFR (vascular endothelial growth factor receptor), PDGFR (platelet-derived growth factor receptor), KIT, and other receptor tyrosine kinases implicated in tumor growth and angiogenesis (the creation of new blood vessels) are among the many that sunitinib inhibits. Sunitinib aids in halting the growth and metastasis of the tumor by blocking these pathways.

Dosage and Administration:
Taken orally with or without food. Instead of chewing or crushing the capsule, it is best to swallow it whole. Depending on adverse effects, the dosage may be changed.
