Mechanism of Action:

How to use this Medication?
This drug is administered intravenously. In a hospital or clinic, your care team often administers it. It can be administered at home as well.
You will be instructed on how to prepare and administer this medication if you receive it at home. Use precisely as instructed. Take it at the same time each day as instructed on the prescription label. Unless your care team instructs you to stop, continue taking it.
It is crucial that you store your used syringes and needles in a designated sharps container. Keep them out of the garbage can. Get a sharps container by calling your pharmacist or care team if you don't already have one.
