Topolive 1mg Capsule contains Topotecan, a chemotherapeutic drug used to treat multiple cancers, including cervical, small cell lung, and ovarian cancer.

Composition: Topotecan

Mechanism of Action:

Topotecan functions by blocking topoisomerase I, an enzyme required for DNA replication. It slows or stops the growth of rapidly dividing cancer cells by interfering with this enzyme, which damages their DNA.

Uses:

·       Ovarian Cancer

·       Small Cell Lung Cancer

·       Cervical Cancer

Dosage and Administration:

As directed by your physician, Topolive 1 mg Capsule may be taken with or without food. Every 21 days, it is usually taken once everyday for five days in a row.

Side Effects:

·       Neutropenia

·       Thrombocytopenia

·       Anemia

·       Nausea

·       Vomiting

·       Diarrhea
