       Somatorel 5mg Injection contains Somatropin, a recombinant human growth hormone (rHGH). It is primarily used to treat growth hormone deficiency in both children and adults, as well as other growth-related disorders.

Mechanism of Action:

It stimulates growth and controls metabolism by imitating the action of natural human growth hormone (GH), which is derived from somatropin. It binds to growth hormone (GH) receptors on target cells, particularly in the liver, to stimulate the synthesis of Insulin-like Growth Factor 1 (IGF-1), an essential protein for the development of bone and muscle. Somatropin decreases insulin sensitivity to increase protein synthesis, facilitate fat breakdown, and control glucose metabolism.
