Kerendia 10mg Tablet

Kerendia 10mg Tablet contains Finerenone, a non-steroidal mineralocorticoid receptor antagonist used to lower the risk of kidney and heart problems in adults with type 2 diabetes-related chronic kidney disease. By reducing inflammation and fibrosis, it protects the heart and kidneys.

Composition: Finerenone

Mechanism of Action:

Finerenone works by inhibiting the mineralocorticoid receptor (MR) in organs such as the kidneys, heart, and arteries. Finerenone helps prevent renal disease and cardiovascular events by suppressing MR, which prevents inflammation and fibrosis (scarring) in these organs caused by over-activation of MR.

Treatment of Chronic Kidney disease associated with Type-2 Diabetes

Dosage and Administration:

It can be taken daily at the same time with or without food. When remembered, take the medication within the same day; if the following dose is practically due, skip it.
