Mechanism of Action:

Contraindications/Warnings:

Decreased LVEF and QT prolongation (see Heart above) require baseline and periodic cardiac monitoring. Interstitial lung disease/pneumonitis, though rare, can be severe or fatal (see Lungs above). Severe diarrhea can occur and may require dose interruption, reduction, and antidiarrheal management; early and aggressive management of diarrhea is recommended. Contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to lapatinib or any component of the formulation. Grapefruit and grapefruit juice should be avoided, as they can increase lapatinib plasma concentrations via CYP3A4 inhibition.

Heart

How to use this Medication?
