Mechanism of Action:

Trifluridine and tipiracil have a synergistic interaction. By integrating into the DNA of cancer cells, trifluridine directly affects them, causing damage that ultimately results in cell death. Tipiracil prolongs and improves the effectiveness of trifluridine by blocking the enzyme that breaks it down.

Uses:

Colorectal Cancer

Dosage and Administration:

The body surface area (BSA) and the type of cancer being treated determine the usual dosage. To reduce gastrointestinal adverse effects, take with water within 30 minutes of eating. Do not chew or crush the tablet.
