Dacihep 60mg Tablet is a antiviral medication primarily used in the treatment of chronic hepatitis C infection.

Composition: Daclatasvir

Mechanism of Action:

The direct-acting antiviral drug daclatasvir blocks the HCV NS5A protein, which is necessary for viral RNA assembly and replication. It prevents the creation of new viral particles as well as the replication of viral RNA. The viral load rapidly decreases as a result of this dual inhibition. For increased effectiveness, it is frequently taken in conjunction with Sofosbuvir.

Dosage and Administration:

One tablet taken once a day, with or without food, is the usual dosage. The length of treatment varies from 12 to 24 weeks, depending on the virus's genotype and past treatment history.
