Bonista PF Injection contains Teriparatide, a synthetic form of human parathyroid hormone (PTH). It is primarily used for the treatment of osteoporosis in adults at high risk for fractures.

Mechanism of Action:

Increased bone mineral density and strength result from this artificial hormone's stimulation of osteoblasts, the cells that produce new bone. By encouraging the formation of new bone, it successfully lowers the risk of fractures.

• Postmenopausal Osteoporosis
• Hypogonadal Osteoporosis in Men
• Glucocorticoid-Induced Osteoporosis

Dosage and Administration:

It is advised to inject 20 mcg once daily subcutaneously.Inject into the abdomen wall or thigh. Every day, the injection should be given at the same time.

How to use this Medication?

Teriparatide injection is a liquid solution that is usually given once a day for up to two years subcutaneously in the lower stomach or thigh using prefilled pens.
